We've Launched!

Here we go! It's been a crazy year leading up to this, and if there's anything we've learned, it's that there's always something more to learn. And then some. Launching a business takes serious grit and determination. Fortunately, we've been surrounded by a group of people who have been both excited and supportive of this dream. There is just no way we could have done this all without them.

Northern Drift is an idea that has slowly developed over the course of the last 10 years. I love being out on water. Always have. As far back as I can remember I wanted to live by the ocean and would dream of being able to breath under water. One of my favorite lines in a song goes, "Come on and wade way out into the water with me, We're drowning on dry land." It's a sentiment that speaks right to my heart.

As I've gotten older, I've realized that living in Minnesota is exactly where I want to be. Living in the upper Midwest region, we are fortunate to be close to so many beautiful lakes and rivers. While we love being outside in the summer months, we find ways to enjoy these natural resources all year long, even in the coldest months of winter. For us, it's about summer nights sitting outside by the fire, and winter evenings at the cabin sipping a cocktail while being wrapped up in a blanket. It's the feeling of that first time you jump into the cool water of the lake early in the summer and it's admiring the changing colors of the trees in fall. It's this rugged passion that has inspired Northern Drift, and we hope that you feel the same connection that we do. Please enjoy!
